Getting started · Step 1 of 3
Sign up
Twelve minutes from here to your first ranked worklist. This first step takes about two.
Create your account
Go to app.customercompass.ai/uk/signup. You can sign up three ways:
- Email + password — 8+ characters with mixed case, digits and symbols. We check every password against the HaveIBeenPwned breach corpus at sign-up and every sign-in; if the corpus knows your password, we reject it and ask you to pick a stronger one. We do not tell you which corpus matched — no leakage.
- Google — one click via OIDC. Your Google email becomes your Compass email.
- Microsoft — one click via OIDC. Same shape as Google. Great fit for Microsoft-365-first practices.
Why the HaveIBeenPwned check?
Your Compass account holds the credentials that unlock a live Xero connection. Weak or previously-breached passwords are the number-one route to credential-stuffing attacks. The check runs against a k-anonymity API — we send only the first five characters of your password's SHA-1 hash, never the password or the full hash.
Verify your email
Password sign-ups receive a verification email from
hello@mail.customercompass.ai. Click the link inside 24 hours to activate
the account. Google and Microsoft sign-ins skip this step — the IdP already vouched
for the address.
Not seeing the email? Check your spam folder. If it is genuinely missing, request a fresh one from the sign-in screen — the old link stops working when the new one is minted.
Optional: enable TOTP MFA
Once you're signed in, visit /uk/account/mfa to enrol an authenticator app (1Password, Authy, Google Authenticator, and so on). Scan the QR code, enter the six-digit code, and MFA is on for future sign-ins.
We do not offer SMS MFA — SIM-swap attacks make it materially weaker than TOTP for an account that holds Xero credentials.
What you get after sign-up
- A free look at the demo dashboard against the fixture consultancy — no credits consumed, no Xero connection required.
- Access to the Connect Xero flow (next step).
- A blank credits balance and no active subscription — you buy on your terms.
